Why is this important for you?

  • Your vehicle's warrantee remains in place if repairs are done by an authorised repairer.
  • Car manufacturers can void your car's warrantee should repairs be carried out by a non-authorised repairer.
  • Car manufacturers are not legally obligated to honour a warrantee claim should problems arise during or post repairs carried out by a non-authorised repairer. This is true even if these problems are not related to the accident.
